About EvolveHR

EvolveHR is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) that partners with growth-minded companies. Our services are focused in the space between human and resources and stand on three pillars — The People, The Consulting and The Tech.

In addition to the conventional PEO services of HR, payroll, benefits administration, technology and risk management, EvolveHR’s services include an Organizational Development (OD) offering which provides project-based Consulting that assesses, develops and monitors the organizations of growing companies.

Organizations and HR can be complex. Through our PEO and OD services, EvolveHR is your trusted partner. With seamless transition and expertise, we enable alignment and allow leaders to gear their efforts toward growing businesses while we facilitate the people matters.

Our History

EvolveHR was founded in 2006 in St. Petersburg, Florida, by Darryl and Norman LeClair — savvy business and PEO professionals with a great passion for building communities and developing strong values-based organizations, they secured EvolveHR’s strong foundation and forged a path for decades of continued growth.

In 2022 Salo Doko acquired EvolveHR, and by leveraging the current foundation, set it on a course of growth as an organization and business. With a clear purpose for the future, strong values and remarkable talent in the organization, EvolveHR is poised to span its positive impact on companies across the US.

Salo Doko

President and Chief Executive Officer

In 2022, Salo Doko acquired EvolveHR and now serves as the President and CEO of the company. With over two decades of business leadership experience and more than 10 years of PEO experience, he is renowned for driving innovation and profitable growth.

Prior to EvolveHR, Salo held various key roles in the PEO space in operations, account management and business leadership.

Salo earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Davenport University and an M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He is a member of the Chicago and Wisconsin Young President’s Organization (YPO) chapters and serves on the Board of Advisors for J. Jeffers & Co. Chicago Crain’s named Salo one of the Notable Leaders in HR in 2020.

Michael Silverman

Chief Financial Officer

Michael is a senior financial professional with a proven track record in the management of all aspects of financial and treasury functions within service, global distribution and manufacturing organizations.

Michael is a service-focused and results-oriented team builder with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. His experience spans from PEO to Big Four accounting, in addition to private equity and owning his own Consulting firm, to name a few.

Michael earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College in Accounting. He holds a CPA license and is a Health and Life Insurance Agent.

Brenda Rowan

Vice President, Client Services

Brenda is a proven leader with more than two decades of experience with a focus in payroll, operations, technology and account management, Brenda’s experience working across multiple industries — including professional services, manufacturing and healthcare — makes her a perfect fit for EvolveHR.

Brenda is passionate about servicing and assisting clients to best manage data, streamline processes and maximize efficiency. A teacher at heart, Brenda strives to educate and empower others with every interaction. She believes a proactive culture removes obstacles that stand in the way of success. Brenda has held various leadership roles in multiple PEOs over the last decade.

Brenda holds a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) through the American Payroll Association. She loves spending time with her family and is an Escape Room and logic puzzle enthusiast.
